Spring Project

Some times when a tree is cut down to provide wood for the fire that keeps us warm, it leaves a stump that begs to be made into a work of art. I guess...Well, this one did, apparently. Pictured here is a very focused artist. Diligently peeling and chisling off the bark of this 3 legged stump is Mr. Tomiko Brown...aka Hermit Swami, Feindish Lumberjack and many more. A man of many hats, too.

The table surface show promise of beauty. It will require many hours of work to bring that beauty out in the open.

Digging out the composted parts. In the next few weeks the table will be set aside to dry before more work can be done. So stay tuned for future progress...Gary, you do great wood work and I think you may be an inspiration...
