It Started Out as a Walk...

It started out, yesterday, as a WALK for exercise...and as we walked along enjoying the colour changes - there - half way down the drive way, a fallen yellow birch. Well, it had to be moved. So we knew what we would be doing next...Getting the truck, the chainsaw...and while we are out, perhaps we could cut up some downed maple for cutting and splitting later.

A Fan Dance! You never know what you will come across
going "down the road". I got as close as I could to get this
picture. He put on quite a show, not just for us but for his lady friend,
who prefered to be camera shy!

Kita waits patiently while we move the road block. Because he is deaf, Kita can't be let loose to wander. He wouldn't hear you calling him back.



Cutting Fallen Maple to load into the truck.

A use for the Road Side Rocks collected today...To "fancy-up" the Fire Pit.

It doesn't look like a lot but...it took effort to lug it out to the truck!

We got all the exercise we could have wanted!
